Have been 5 times in 4 visits. Still have not made it in but will keep trying. It is beautiful,a great lighthouse
Beautiful views from the top. This is a rebuilt replica of the one that toppled over some years back. There is a cute museum and a self guided tour lets you go all the way up to the top.
This is a wonderful piece of history for St George Island! I recommend everyone stopping by at least once! The money it costs for tours also helps to support such a wonderful icon to the island.
Wonderful historical stop nice easy access and quickly look around. It was really informative listing to care taker. Want to go up in lighthouse but it cost money and it was costly for a family of 5, but I will say I wanted to go. I think the view would have been worth it. Great stop.....
Its an iconic landmark for an Island that pretty much noone knows about. The lighthouse has an interesting history (it collapsed and was relocated to where it stands now). The museum is small but well laid out and provides the story of the lighthouse well.
