Lively place with friendly attentive staff. Large portions and the food is pretty good. Prices are good for the portions about 14-20$ per plate depending on what you get. Would recommend to families visiting the area.
Waitress didn't drive us nuts but was attentive. Nice hand salts in the bathroom to get rid of the fish smell. Nice touch!
My husband and I are in Eastpoint (first time here) for the winter. We are so happy to have found this gem of an area. We had a fabulous dinner at the Family Coastal Restaurant. My dinner consisted of soft shell crabs - a favorite and the best hush puppies ever!!!
This place is as good of a value as you can find. The food is good and plentiful. Restaurant was very clean. I got the choose 3 seafood plate. 12 shrimp 4 large pieces of grouper and about 35 bay scallops plus 2 sides. All for less than $20 no less.
Ordered a large seafood platter for two $40 I can't brag on it enough. There was so much food! The mullet fish had been caught 3 hour prior to our eating it. Wow!
We had an entire plate of food left over! The atmosphere was really sweet at sunset♡
