Having always had several house cats and having maintained a large colony of outdoor cats for my thirteen years in Franklin County, I've taken at least 35 cats to the Apalachicola Bay Animal Clinic since 2004. Without exception I have had outstanding experiences there. Whether I'm taking a cat for a regular checkup or to be neutered, treated for disease/injury, or euthanized, Dr. Fulmer is thorough, professional, helpful, and caring to both my pets and to me. He and all of his staff members have become like family over the years, showing genuine concern and love for my cats and me. I also appreciate the fact that Dr. Fulmer and his staff perform many important services for all the animals in this county and maybe beyond, from treating wounded eagles or bears to rescuing abandoned or endangered animals to organizing and participating in ambitious trap/neuter/release programs to fundraising for animal services programs. The Apalachicola Bay Animal Clinic is invaluable to this county, its animals, and its people, providing the best veterinary services I have encountered in my 40 years as a cat lover.

Dr Fulmer and Dr Nelson are very compassionate and knowledgeable. The staff are extremely helpful. Spend a few bucks, but worth every penny.

We visited St. George Island for vacation with our yellow Lab. He developed a "hot spot" under his collar. In a couple of days, the infection spread to cover most of his throat, making him ill. Despite a full calendar and surgeries, Dr. Nelson fit us in and treated him. In addition to treating the infection AND HIS pain, she explained the causes and how we should prevent future episodes.

The staff was polite, caring and helpful.

Our family was on vacation @ St. George Island, and while there, our baby Roxie became ill. We called Dr. Fulmer's office and was seen promptly. He treated Roxie and she was back to her old self the next day. The entire staff was very courteous!

Professional, knowledgeable, and thorough describe Dr. Fulmer and Dr. Nelson. The care provided is worth every penny.
