One server for the entire place and her personality was pretty abrasive. Food was marginal at best- hush puppies were not cooked through and the shrimp were bordering on not being cooked through. Has potential but needs some tighter management in order to be successful. Lots of games for kids to play while they wait for food. Lots of TVs but they were a little too high to be seen easily.
Let's just say that the owners spent more money on atmosphere than anything else.
Terrible food. Nice building...that is it. The food was just bad. How someone can screw up basic food this bad is an absolute reflection on the management. First two beers I order, they don't have in stock. A one page menu and the worst cold fish tacos. Go to Paddy's. The sooner management changes the better.
Went there last night, and for the 3 of us it was very reasonable priced. Compared to other places on the island. Great atmosphere, building is A1
After our visit, we asked the locals what they thought... it was an overall thumbs down.
When the food came out, everything was ... let's just just say not up to par with the surrounding restaurants.
Was there on a recent week trip. Heard this place on the radio and went during lunch. However, there weren't enough servers for lunch ( server kept apologizing for delays), bartender could have taken care of tables as there were a few people at the bar, and manager just sat at a table watching the restaurant unfold.
While this review is a 2-star, we wish the owners and management staff well. Perhaps this was a "bad day", but will visit on another day for a different and better experience.
The live music both times was awesome.
I've been here twice and had totally different experiences. The first was great, super quick service, friendly, great food. The second visit was a totally different experience. We ordered drinks, and it took about 45 minutes for them to arrive. The food took almost two hours to get to us and some of it was cold. The manager, Brian, really smoothed things over. It is good to know, that even if the service is bad, the staff gets it and makes it right. We will definitely be back next time in st george.
